Any organization that meets the criteria specified in the "Qualifying for SLOW" tab can apply to become a SLOW-certified philanthropic organization. The evaluative criteria that are specified below were designed based on research into some of the recommendations and best practices outlined in the contemporary literature on philanthropy.

Since some components of SLOW Philanthropy may be difficult for every organization to fulfill, we have created 3 different levels of certification. You can upgrade to a higher level at any time by reapplying for that particular level.
